GLIDE has a kick ass time at CUC 2012

Wow - the last four days have been awesome! In just our second year of existence, Glide has made an appearance at the Canadian Ultimate Championships. After three days of gruelling action-packed ultimate, our team pulled off 4 wins in 9 games to move up three spots from our original seeding to finish 12th overall. And holy smokes are we proud and pumped! 

We had a tough first day, losing to Union and Unight (what a tough pool - they ended up coming 2nd and 3rd overall); then we had a real close game against Bunny Thugs, losing 12-10. Day 2 saw us clean up big time - with three consecutive wins against Wannabago, Rebellion and Whiplash. Finally, on day 3 we won our first game against Powerpack (11-9), only to fall to BFC and Prodigy in the final two games of the tournament.

With an exciting day of stadium-packed finals on Sunday, and a fun party on Saturday night, CUC 2012 proved to be an experience we will not forget. Be ready for us next year folks. CUC 2013 in Vancouver will see a renewed and reinvigorated Glide roster!
